Five Candidates File to Run in Democratic Primary for Two Plainfield City Council Seats

By Monday afternoon's 4:30pm filing deadline, 5 people signed up to run in the June 2 Democratic primary for two Plainfield City Council seats, representing three of the city's four wards.

For the first ward, incumbent Robert Graham will face Meghana “Meg” Anandarangam and Yasmin Griffin. Graham will run under the slogan “Regular Democratic Organization of Union County,” Anandarangam will use the tagline “Meg! Democratic Socialist for Queen City," and Griffin is listed as “A Strong Voice for Ward 1.”
